There are many players in market who have starting Selling LADAKH apart of making people explore it. due to less information people fall into wrong Itinerary for cheaper packages. By the time you realize you can?t do anything. And due to this travellers are getting affected and get a bad impression for all adventure touring companies. Please choose your Itinerary wisely just for spending lesser don't risk your Life. It's not a joke. Every year we see multiple deaths on those roads because of less preparations and knowledge.

A M S :-Acute Mountain Sickness, or altitude sickness, is a very Common possibility because of the high altitude in the Ladakh Region. Symptoms include listlessness, headaches, and nausea. And causes death. Take this seriously. People die every year because they take it Lightly.

Spend at least two days in LEH to acclimatize your body before exploring Local on any Motor ride or trek. Don?t blindly follow itineraries with NO REST DAYS it's you who will suffer in Hospital no one Else.


Drink a lot of water. A good rule of thumb is to drink three litres of water a day. Try to Avoid smoking and Drinking.

The Ladakh Region :- Ladakh is a place which has twinkling stars, the highest motor able road in the world, Beautiful monasteries, The highest mountain passes in the world, and the brightest rainbows ever Its blue skies seduce visitors in no time. But be warn you ! There are also treacherous roads, patchy connectivity, lack of infrastructure, and traffic jams on roads overlooking steep cliffs.

Ladakh Dangers include Rough roads and extreme weather. Behind Ladakh's Mesmerizing Beauty hidden are dangers not meant for children's and Aged People, the atmosphere is with 25% less oxygen.

Blind Curve Roads :-In summer, rain or bad weather can take Bike / Cars off the road, so always be alert. Riding or driving these passes in winter is equal to suicide. Always blow horn when on curves. Due to steep curves you will often only have an inch or two to spare when passing a truck or bus. As the visibility is Zero you cant see vehicles arriving.

Landslides, slippery roads, potholes, unpaved roads, falling rocks and stones,. It's an ultra-scenic drive with hardcore terrain.

Sun Burn & Frost Bite :- This is the only place on earth where you can get FROST BITE & SUN BURN within a day. It may be cold, but the sun rays are still very strong due to high altitude. so always wear a cap & carry Sun creams.

Use sun protection cream to your nose, neck, and ears in particular. Places like Drass is the coldest place in Asia. Temperatures does falls to minus 40 degrees Celsius. Dress and plan accordingly for extreme conditions.

Don't trust Google :- Don't ever refer to Google Maps and blindly just follow them to estimate the Directions & time for driving a stretch of road on your road trip to Ladakh. As in Himalayas you can not expect technology to work every time so you always require experts who have high terrain knowledge and local hold especially when you plan with a group. As in case you get stuck somewhere it may cause u a lot.
